About Rebecca- Emma, Founder of Rebecca Whistance, and The Cornish Artisan

I have 24 year's experience as an aromatherapist, herbalist, and holistic practitioner, and have been making teas and balms throughout for my family, friends and clients. I work with plants daily in the form of essential oils, flower essences and herbs and have been in awe all these years of just how much plants help and support humans in so many ways.It is an absolute joy and honour to offer holistic therapies and create wellbeing products for people knowing the benefits are so wonderfully healing.

Ethical ingredients

It is important to me to only use organic ingredients ensuring quality, ethical trade and sustainable farming. Organic farming is better for our eco system, wildlife and planet and it also ensures the welfare of those who farm and grow these amazing health giving plants, and of course preserving our beautiful planet.

I am mindful of my impact on this planet and how my choices energetically effect all (kind of like the ripple effect). Conscious positive choices create positive vibes, and those positive vibes create teas, skin care and treatments that are filled full of love!

My Self- Care

My handcrafted products have become my support, my slowing down process and my self replenishing ritual. As a Mother of three children I have learnt that time and space just for me, even if it is just 10-15 mins a day is vital for my health and wellbeing, and I belive makes me a more balanced happy Mother. I spent many early days when my children were toddlers on the go constantly, never having a moment to myself, feelng exhausted and run ragged. I stepped outside my front door once, not long after having my twin boys and took a deep breath and noticed just how different I felt, consciously breathing deeply and realised how much I had been holding, how important it was for me to allow myself some space just for me and unless I began to implement ''my time'' I would not cope with the challenges that lay ahead. I began to include rituals and routines for myself which did not take a lot of time but did allow me the five or ten minute breather that I so desperately yearned for, to totally connect to myself, my breath and my needs. My balm and tea rituals are what helped me through, kept me sane and are still what I follow 10 years on. They remind me to celebrate my accomplishments, value myself always and that it's ok to rest, have a break and take care of me, that it's not a selfish act that is worthy of guilt!! I hope that my range of organic loose leaf teas and natural luxury skin care balms can offer you too a little support, help you to rest, restore and reconnect to yourself.

Creative Expression

Creativity is part of our natural way of being, it supports our health and promotes a sense of wellbeing. I love to get creating, I am passionate about colour and how this can influence how we feel. I particularly enjoy expressing myself freely with paint, and colour. I am inspired by nature, and the rugged wild landscape of Cornwall. The beautiful sunsets, wild flowers and vibrant colours of the sea, these are reflected in my hand painted label designs and business cards.I enjoy how two of my passions can be brought together in my range of crafted products. An opportunity for me to share my gifts with the world- I hope that you experience the joy and delight that I experienced whilst creating.
